About Pheleshia

Life-long learning


I have a passion for learning and teaching. Some of my learning passions are astronomy, botany, (okay science), math, music, dance and yoga! I love teaching students of all ages (0 to over 100  yrs old).

You have a curiosity, an interest, a question, a desire to know more? Then I have the passion to support you in your learning and will be thrilled to be learning alongside you!

-Student Profiles (Grade 6 to Secondary 1)

-TÉVA (Transition École vers la Vie Active/Transition Youth to Adult Life) High School (15 to 21 year olds) Extended Learning Experience

-Transition of students with special needs from the youth sector to Adult Education and Vocational Training (AEVT)

-Work in collaboration with TÉVA partners

-Work in collaboration with school teams (guidance counsellors, in-school professionals, student services, administrators, teachers, families and the students, DPP)


Adult ed..

-TÉVA (Transition École vers la Vie Active/Transition Youth to Adult Life) Adult Ed. (15 to 21 year olds)

-Work in collaboration with TÉVA partners

-Facilitate the transition of students with diverse needs from the youth sector into the Adult sector

-SIS (Social Integration Services) 21 years old +


Vocational Training

-TÉVA (Transition École vers la Vie Active/Transition Youth to Adult Life) Technical Training (15 to 21 year olds)

-Work in collaboration with TÉVA partners

-Facilitate the transition of students with diverse needs from the youth and  adult sectors into the Vocational Education Sector

Offers of Support

Transition: Student Profiles

-Provide ongoing support and training to empower the elementary and high school teams to facilitate the transition process

-Support Elementary school teams in putting together the Student Profile Portfolios

- Support High School teams during the articulation process

- Support High School Teams in using the Student Profiles.


TÉVA (Transition de l’école vers la vie active-15 to 21 years):

Provide ongoing support to High School teams in the implementation of the TEVA process, in the use of standard transition tools and forms through PD, and coaching


Transitions: Youth to Adult Ed and Technical Vocation:

-Provide support to High School teams in transitioning youth with special needs to AEVT

-Organise student orientation days for students with special needs

-Support AEVT in welcoming the students with special needs

Cognitive Coaching

-Provide ongoing support and guidance to school teams in order to facilitate working with students with diverse needs (Strategies for differentiation/Learning Profiles/Current best practices)
